Banks can offer a type of RV financing with 7 to 10 year terms and usually a down payment. If you don’t have cash this would be your best solution as we do not offer any type of owner financing on our builds.
With a weight limit around 15,000lbs, you will need a vehicle such as a Ford F250-F350, Chevy Silverado 2500-3500, GM Sierra 2500-3500, Ram 2500-3500 etc. Diesel engines are also preferred.
With a height of 13.6ft and a width of 8.5ft, you do not need a special permit to travel with this making it much easier to plan your routes. Always be mindful of bridge heights and difficult terrain however.
Yes. We have built these in a manner should you want this to be a permanent structure you can modify it to meet any city/state local codes. Please do your research beforehand to see what your local regulations would require as every state is different. You may have a time period where it is considered an ‘RV’ and fall under RV guidelines while you work on a permanent solution if that is your desire.
While the 2 are similar they are also very different. A tiny home on wheels is a lot more ‘homey’ with the aesthetics of an actual home VS a metal/plastic exterior of an RV. A tiny home on wheels is also a lot easier to repair as a general handyman can make repairs to plumbing, electrical etc, while an RV you sometimes have to get a certified RV technician which can take time and cost a lot more for special parts.
There is a 40 gallon water holding tank hooked up to a 110v water pump to allow water to flow to your sinks, toilet, bathroom etc. There are 2 storage containers under the trailer for your waste water; a ‘grey water’ tank which holds your bath/dishwater, and a ‘black water’ tank which holds your sewage. These have RV fittings for you to be able to drain your tanks at RV parks. For a ‘permanent’ structure you will need to consult with a plumber and electrician to run power/sewage lines to your tiny home.
